Extrahepatic Biliary Obstruction: Sensitivity and Specificity

Introduction: Extrahepatic biliary obstruction reflects inability of bile to leave the liver and/or gallbladder with the obstruction occurring outside the liver. One common cause is Cholelithiasis leading to Choledocholithiasis, but tumors can also obstruct the common bile duct.
