Pulmonary Capillary Wedge Pressure: Sensitivity and Specificity

Introduction: aka PCWP, pressure measured by a Swan-Ganz catheter floated into a branch of the pulmonary artery and inflated to occlude the vessel. This pressure is supposed to equal LV filling pressures (LVEDP), though it does not always.
